This stone was erected in memory of Elizabeth Heavens, who was a conscientious and faithful servant fulfilling as far as frail nature permitted that admonition of St Paul
Not with eye service as men pleasers but as the servant of Christ doing the will of God from the heart.
She died in her 80th year 1826 after spending nearly the last …… one family who now pay this tribute to her memory.
